If you had excess aluminum, how many moles of aluminum chloride could be produced from 39.0 g of chlorine gas?

Formula of aluminium chloride is AlCl3.So 3 parts of chlorine would bond with one of the Aluminium.So 39/3 i.e 13 moles of alcl3 would be formed with 21g of Al left.(not sure... :o)
